Boo dry skin … even in winter!
The skin is the largest organ of the body. It consists of three distinct layers: hypodermis, the dermis and epidermis. It is the epidermis, the outer part of the skin, which helps maintain hydration of the body. The skin is actually composed of several layers of cells that a thin film of oil protects against dehydration. This film part that regulates water loss. During the winter, the barrier is constantly assaulted by cold, wind, sun or excessive heat. Result: water losses are important and the skin loses its flexibility and elasticity.
The specialists at the Mayo Clinic looked at the issue. Before you turn crocodile or ruin you in all sorts of creams, drink plenty of water and follow these tips. They will help keep skin soft … even in winter.
