Is Hot Flash For All Women?

To most menopausal women and to several women who are in perimenopause, the transition to menopause, hot flashes are well known. They tend to come on suddenly and last from 1 to 5 minutes and they may range in severity from fleeting warmth to a feeling of being in fire. Some women experience this symptom differently and others don't.

No one is completely sure why and how hot flash occurs but the individual tolerance for the changes in temperature could be the possible explanation. A research shows that for those women who have hot flash may have a lower tolerance changes in the innermost body temperature than women who don't have hot flashes.
