Steps for placing a sealant
The procedure is done without any pain.
* The tooth is thoroughly cleaned
* If the grooves of the tooth have an early tooth decay, it is eliminated
* An acid solution is placed on the tooth surface for a few seconds to make rude, which helps link
* The tooth is rinsed.
* The liquid sealant is applied to the tooth that forms a direct link, and a light blue makes it hard
* Sometimes a dentist may choose to shutter a material composite (white seal) as a sealant to make it more resistant.
Life of a sealant
A sealant can last between 3 and 10 years, depending mainly hygiene and equipment used (versus composite sealer). It is important to be checked sealants for fractures or wear during routine tests. The dentist may need to replace a seal.
