When tooth decay reaches

When tooth decay reaches the pulp which is housed the nerve, the dentist must treat the tooth with a root canal to prevent bacterial infection. Once the bacteria have entered the pulp, the tooth must be devitalized. A tooth having a root canal becomes fragile and more likely to break. It is advisable to restore a tooth with a crown or at least a dental center to give it strength.
When you need a root canal
     * Deep caries have reached the pulp cavity where the nerve.
     * Dent broken when a shutter is not enough to restore.
     * Pulp irritated by trauma.
     * Pulp irritated by a shutter (seal) very deep.
     * Dent needing a crown, but need additional support of a pivot.
     * Periapical lesion, i.e. infectious lesion found after the root of a tooth that can be seen on an X-ray.
